When shopping for a product, you need to be assured that what you’re taking was produced in a manufacturing facility that’s tested and okayed by the government to be using the best, safest manufacturing processes.
One way to easily do this is to check and see if the company making the creatine you are interested in has their’s made in a GMP certified facility.
GMP stands for ‘Good Manufacturing Processes’. It’s a certification that’s overseen by the FDA and ensures that the product you are buying is made in a way that guarantees you’re getting what is on the label and will be that way whether you’re buying 1 or 100 bottles. Look at it as ‘what you see is what you get’ but in a good way.
If you don’t buy a creatine supplement for a GMP certified company, you have know idea whether every serving has the same amount. I’ve seen lab tests that should products containing 0 grams of creatine when it should be 5. This is obviously not good.
It Must Be Tested For Impurities
