Great question! For my pre-workout nutrition, I like to use a carb/protein mix like Prograde Workout. This helps sustain me while I train, as well as ensuring that I have muscle-building and recovery enhancing branched chain amino acids circulating for proper absorption post workout. While there isn’t any stimulant effect, there is a natural boost of energy that I find helps me train my hardest, while allowing for increase results.
